Born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Todd first picked up a guitar at the age of 10 during a short, eight-week school class. Those first chords ignited a lifelong obsession. Mostly self-taught, he honed his skills by ear before studying classical guitar at West Chester University at age 17.
Influenced by legends like the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jeff Beck, Todd forged a distinctive style blending power, melody, and precision. With his brother, he formed Volume, a hard rock band that stormed the Pennsylvania and New Jersey club circuit before heading west to California in 1989 under the management of MetalDaze. Volume hit iconic venues such as Gazzari’s, Spice Club, The Marquee, and Jezabel’s while Todd sharpened his vocals under world renowned vocal teacher and singer Ron Anderson (Kiss, Dokken, Axl Rose, etc.).
The band recorded with recording engineer Eddie King (Bruce Hornsby), with pre-production handled by Bob Budavich and Rick Kraushaar.
By 1994, Todd returned to record and electrify stages across Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Today he remains a relentless live presence, with a new album on the horizon.
